Yajna - Fire Sacrifice - Homa

Samskaras or purificatory processes - Yagna(Yajna) is a Vedic fire sacrifice where offerings are made to Lord Vishnu through the sacred fire (Agni). The Vedic literatures describe that there are many opportunities during one’s life – from before birth to after death – when one should perform a ceremony for purification to evoke auspiciousness and ensure advancement in spiritual life. ISKCON Tampa offers various Vedic samskara (life event) and Yagna (fire sacrament) services. All services are performed by qualified Brahmin initiated priest, in a prayerful mood, to invoke the blessings of the Lord. We do not just perform the vedic rituals but also explain the deep spiritual meaning in simple language to the all assembled audience. Spirit of devotion added to the ritual makes it spiritual. Some of the services we offer are:
